The sixties were great in many ways. But, if you were not of those chosen by fate, it could have been a time of angst and anger.
ReplyDeleteOn 04 May 2009, Kent State University will dedicate a momument to those who were injured or murdered on 04 May. I have stood there and looked at terrain and felt it. Look at the pictures and thank God we were all in the east and weren't there. One injured person was 700+ feet away. What was his involvement or crime?
We will probably never know the truth, not until some one copies of the records needs the money for his retirement or medical care.

Now for something completely different, CNN has reported that the 1993 (!!!) rivalry between Phillipsburg, NJ and Easton, PA was played 7-7 tie on that Thanksgiving day.There was no overtime back then. Finally, there is going to a rematch with pay until some one wins even it takes Overtime.

Does anyone want a rematch with Peekskill or the Headless Horsemen of Tarrytown? ... Not I.
